Daily Greens for Your Pets

I have been giving my new puppy Daily Greens to help her get strong. She is from a shelter so when she came to live with us she needed some TLC. I got these vitamins from Greenlife Wholefoods or you can buy them online:
 http://www.halopets.com/
These Greens have so many good healthy things like:
Juice of Young Barley Grass, Romano cheese, Buttermilk, Brewers Dried Yeast, Dried Yeast, Sour Cream, Liver, Whey, Beet, Garlic, Dried Kelp, Carrot, Parsley, Cranberry Extract, Spinach, Concentrated Juice of Alfalfa Leaf, Wheat Germ, Yogurt, Lecithin, Rose Hips Extract, Raisins, Vanilla, Juniper Spice Extract, Dried Pineapple Stem, Dried Papaya, Dried Aspergillus Oryzae Fermentation Product, Dried Rhizopus Oryzae Fermantation Product, Barley, Soybean Sprouts, Wheat Sprouts, Dicalcium Phosphate, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Sterate, Silica Dioxide
It also contains Vitamins, minerals, and amino acids!
To feed your pet a vitamin you have to bend down to their level.

You have to call your pup over in a sweet voice.
When you give your puppy vitamins
you can put peanut butter on
it and roll it up in a ball.
Now your pet will have shiny eyes, a smooth coat,
and more energy to play!
They will grow shiny nails too.
I love my puppy and I want her to stay healthy!

Chihuahua Basic Needs

Chihuahua Basic Needs:
You should adopt because Chihuahuas need homes. They can live until 10 to 17 years. Some Chihuahuas like mixes can be in dog shows like my Chihuahua, Maya, who has a merle coat. But to be in dog shows your pure bred Chihuahua has to be 12 to 15 inches tall. There is a dog standard handbook that you can use for a dog shows made by the AKC (American Kennel Club).

Chihuahuas have a tender spot in their head called a molera and in 6 moths there head will be all fixed because this happens to all the Chihuahuas. When they are born they have to learn how to play and use the bathroom according to the rules of the house. If you have a Chihuahua and you have a lots of treats don’t feed them a lot of treats. This is because you don’t want to over do their sugar diet because they are one of the only kinds of dogs that can have diabetes. Well here are your basic needs for a Chihuahuas and that’s why they need homes.

Wilderness Pup Adventures!

My puppy and I had a wilderness adventure this weekend!
Marley did many things he had never tried before...
It didn't take me long to catch a fish! Marley got really excited about the fish
and whined when we threw him back into the water...
Marley kept looking over the edge trying to find his lil fishy friend. I wanted him to lick it:)
I reeled my fish in and J helped me get the hook out.
He had to gently step on him to pull it out.
I was a little nervous to hold the fish close to me...
Check out these action fishing skills! This is my super shooter fishing rod... I
had a great idea to take Marley out in the canoe.
He didn't seem to like the idea until we fed him marshmellows to get him in the boat.
He really liked riding along once he got in! He got to see geese and the whole lake.
I even paddled some of the way!
Marley got really excited every time we would try to fish.
He would come right up to anyone holding a pole and just wait at the edge of the dock.
He thought the fishing lures were real fish, he he.
Marley had his first swimming adventure at the lake! He was walking on the lower dock
that was covered in water. The water is very high right now so when you walk
on one side the other side sinks. Its almost like your in the water already!
So Marley went right up to the edge and PLOP! Into the water he went!
He didn't know what had happened! My mommy had to run over and grab him out.
He was swimming but was a little scared.
We had a great adventure this weekend and a super fun spring break!

Wild Dog Adventures

This is Fire Dancer. He was the first wild dog my mom and I saw while visiting the zoo. We rode the carousel. I rode a deer and my mom rode a ram.
This is a coyote. A coyote is a kind of wild dog.
A coyote was found at my school! Mr.Johnson had to tell the principal. Animal control had to come and take the coyote away. I think he ended up in a zoo like this one.

We also went hiking and ran into this animal life enclosure. They had the Red Wolves.
This wolf did not pay any attention to us until we started making sounds and pretending to have food. He came right over and was a little mad we didn't have anything for him.

These horses were trying to find shade.
I wanted to pet the horse but I get a little nervous around them. They are so big and I don't know what they are going to do next. My mom showed me how to let the horse smell my hand first...to get used to me. Then if his ears are forward its ok to try to pet him.
This horse was very friendly and he wanted me to pet him. He put his head over the fence for me to pet him but I got too freaked out. His head is HUGE! Maybe next time I will be able to pet him with more than one finger...maybe even ride him one day!
